Check-in at the hotel, free time to explore the town.

- Stroll along the pedestrianized main street, Markens, where you'll find an abundance of stores.
- Visit the Kristiansand Cannon Museum at Møvik Fortress. The museum offers an interesting perspective on the history of warfare. The arsenal's old railroad line evokes a dramatic chapter in history in a peaceful, bucolic setting overlooking the Kristiansand archipelago.

DAY 5: KRISTIANSAND

You can take the ferry to Bragdøya Island. The island is uninhabited: it's an open public space dedicated to leisure activities, a verdant park served by a harbour, criss-crossed by picturesque paths leading to idyllic bathing spots.
On your return to the city, plan an evening at the Centre Kilden. This former naval base has been transformed into an artistic recreational area. A stunning building houses a theater and concert hall with an excellent program.

Third stage of your discovery of Southern Norway. The regular train takes you in 3 hours to the charming town of Stavanger, perhaps the prettiest town in southern Norway.
Check into your hotel and discover the town for yourself.
Stroll through the picturesque lanes of the old town, Gamle Stavanger. It's home to Europe's best-preserved district of wooden houses, with over 170 white wooden dwellings.
Head for the fascinating Norwegian Petroleum Museum. This highly accessible museum shows how offshore operations have become Norway's most important industry, how oil and gas are formed, how seabed resources are found, and how drilling and production are conducted. The museum offers a variety of activities for children and adults, interactive installations and films.
Overnight at Hotel Comfort 3* or similar (DDP)
DAY 7: STAVANGER
Head for the Fjords!
The city of Stavanger lies on the border between southern Norway and the fjord region to the west. After the Norwegian trains, it's time for a boat trip: today you're off for a 3.5-hour cruise on the Lysefjord, the "fjord of light".
The electric boat you'll be taking sails all year round from Stavanger to Preikestolen. Preikestolen is one of Norway's greatest natural attractions. It's the sheer mountain wall that Tom Cruise climbs in the film Mission Impossible - Fallout!
Your boat then continues its journey towards the imposing Hengjanefossen waterfall.
Hiking alternative: If you're in the mood for a bit of sport, take a hike to the top of the famous Preikestolen rock. At an altitude of 604 m, it offers an extraordinary view of the Lysefjord: one of the most famous viewpoints in the world. The 8-kilometer hike, considered to be of moderate difficulty, takes around 4 hours. It can be scheduled on this day instead of the cruise.
