DAY 1: TROMSØ
Flight or train to Tromsø on request.
Individual arrival in Tromsø. Free transfer between the airport and Tromsø. Check-in at your hotel.
The Norwegian city of Tromsø, also known as the “Little Paris of the North”, lies 350 km from the Arctic Circle. It is Northern Norway's largest urban center. Historically, the city has been the starting point for countless polar expeditions. It's a must-see destination for those wishing to discover the aurora borealis.

DAY 2: TROMSØ (Hurtigruten cruise)
Discover Tromsø at your own pace. You can visit the Polar Museum, which reveals the history of numerous polar expeditions and explains life in the region in past centuries. You can also visit the Tromsø Museum to learn more about the Far North, its flora and fauna, climate issues and the Northern Lights.
If the sky is clear, take the Fjellheisen funicular for a magnificent view of the region.

Around 11 pm: board a Hurtigruten ship.
You leave on an 18-hour cruise to the Lofoten Islands.

DAY 3: TROMSØ - VESTERÅLEN AND LOFOTEN ISLANDS - SVOLVÆR (Hurtigruten cruise)
On your Hurtigruten cruise, you'll pass through the magnificent Vesterålen and Lofoten islands. Weather permitting, the ship will sail on the epic Trollfjord, a two-kilometer-long arm of the sea and a true pearl of the region. Awe-inspiring scenery and incredible panoramas await you as you cruise to the heart of the Lofoten Islands, to Svolvær.

DAY 4: SVOLVÆR - LOFOTEN ISLANDS (Sea Eagle Safari) - SVOLVÆR
Today you'll set off on an incredible journey on the waters of the Lofoten Islands. You'll have the chance to observe sea eagles and witness the unforgettable spectacle of these majestic birds fishing just a few meters from your boat. At the same time, you'll admire the beautiful maritime and mountain scenery of the surrounding area.

DAY 5: SVOLVÆR - NARVIK
Bus journey from Svolvær to Narvik. Arrival in Narvik.
At first glance, this medium-sized Norwegian town may seem a little sleepy. Set in the heart of majestic mountains bordering the ocean, Narvik has a friendly, peaceful atmosphere. On your first visit to this town, discover the must-see Narvik War Museum. You'll learn more about the town's role during the war, and gain a better understanding of Narvik's unique location as a point of connection between east and west throughout history.
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays: you can take the funicular to enjoy the magnificent panorama of the fjord.

DAY 6: NARVIK - SWEDISH MOUNTAINS - ABISKO (Arctic Train)
Your Norwegian train journey begins today ! The Arctic Train heads for the Swedish mountains to Abisko, a magnificent national park created in 1909. Located at the northernmost tip of Sweden and the Arctic Circle, it was founded to “preserve an area of Nordic nature in its original state and as a reminder for scientific research”. This is one of the reasons why the Abisko scientific research station was built in its vicinity.

DAY 7: ABISKO NATIONAL PARK
Day at leisure. Explore nature around the hotel or visit the exhibition in the adjacent museum. You can also go hiking to discover the nature reserve (if there's snow, you can rent skis or snowshoes).
In the evening, try your hand at watching the aurora borealis from your accommodation.
Overnight at the STF hotel** in Abisko (PDJ, DI).
DAY 8: ABISKO - KIRUNA - STOCKHOLM (Train)
Departure to Kiruna by train (1h journey), an Arctic town and kingdom of the Aurora Borealis.
Leave your luggage at the station luggage locker. Free day in this town, a jewel of Swedish Lapland.
In the early evening, departure of your overnight train to the Swedish capital.
Overnight on board the train in a sleeper cabin (PDJ).
DAY 9: STOCKHOLM
Early arrival. You can leave your luggage at the hotel reception.
The hotel is close to the Central Station, the City Hall, the Royal Castle, the Old Town (Gamla Stan) and the harbor, from where a noria of boats leaves for the islands of the archipelago of this “Venice of the North”.
Free time to explore the city.
Night in hotel.
DAY 10: STOCKHOLM
Free time according to your flight schedule (PDJ)
Additional night, return flight or train from Stockholm on request.
