Winter magic in Canada
INDEPENDENT (7 days, no overnight stay) Embark on a picturesque adventure through snow-covered landscapes, where frozen rivers and pristine forests create a magical backdrop.
DAY 1: MONTREAL
Flight to Montreal on request.
To take advantage of direct flights, we recommend departing on Wednesday.
Individual arrival at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport.
You'll be taken to your hotel by regular bus, where you'll settle in.
Founded in 1642, Montreal is a great city to live in, with a varied cultural program combining art and culture, Montreal cuisine, festivities and entertainment. You'll have no time to get bored in a city that's alive both day and night.
Free discovery of the city of Montreal. In winter, the famous underground city is the perfect place to protect yourself from the cold, or to skate in the parks, stroll through Old Montreal or take part in one of the city's events.
Between February 29 and March 10, 2024, the Montreal High Lights Festival takes place in the Quartier des spectacles. Here, local and international artists come together to create unforgettable moments: dance, music and light shows.
If you're in Montreal between March 18 and April 09, 2024, immerse yourself in Montreal's festive local culture at the Festival d'art underground. It's a truly atypical event that redesigns Montreal's underground city.
Overnight in hotel.
DAY 2: MONTREAL
Take advantage of this free day to explore the Port of Montreal, with its bustling docks and majestic cruise ships lining the shores. Let yourself be captivated by Montreal's fascinating port history through interactive exhibits, testimonials and activities that highlight the importance of this iconic site.
Just a few minutes' walk away, an unforgettable winter experience awaits you at the Old Port of Montreal's natural skating rink on the St. Lawrence River (open from December to early March). Recapture the city's festive spirit as the rink transforms into a gathering place for families, laughter and music.
Overnight in hotel.
DAY 3: MONTREAL
Take advantage of your last full day in Montreal to visit the MEM - Montreal Memory Centre to truly discover the rich and colorful history of the region, captured immersively through exhibits and paintings. This unique museum is much more than just a collection of historical objects: it's a journey through time!
If you haven't already done so, pay a visit to one of Montreal's microbreweries, one of the city's must-try beers. The microbrewery formula is simple but highly effective: brew your own beer and serve it in the same establishment. Montreal is brimming with little addresses where you can sample the local breweries' confections to accompany a good meal or aperitif.
In the evening, a very original and convivial tour awaits you. Put on your snowshoes (provided) and set off to discover the way of Mount Royal Park. Learn more about the history of snowshoeing over a cup of hot chocolate. Guided tour, beginner level (Friday and Saturday only)
Overnight at your hotel.
DAY 4: MONTREAL - QUEBEC
Morning departure by train from Montreal's main train station to Quebec City.
Breakfast served on board.
Check-in at the hotel, afternoon free for personal discovery of the city.
Quebec City is home to Carnaval (late January to early February), the city's signature winter event.
For a short period of time, the city is transformed into a winter wonderland of decorations, ice sculptures and lights. This carnival offers a multitude of unforgettable and unusual icy activities: tobogganing in Quebec City, three-ski electric run... These activities embody the spirit of joy and conviviality that reigns at this time of year. A parade of floats and musical evenings are also offered during Carnival.
It's a winter event not to be missed!
Overnight at hotel (PDJ)
DAY 5: QUEBEC CITY
Departure for a guided tour in costume, retracing the history of the prestigious Château Frontenac. William Van Horne, General Manager of Canadian Pacific Limited (CP), was responsible for the construction of the Château Frontenac. He wanted to encourage luxury rail travel, and make the future hotel a favorite stopover for travelers. Explore the key figures and historic moments that left their mark on the Château.
After the tour, try the famous Dufferin Terrace slide, which has welcomed visitors from all over the world since 1884 (4 tickets per person).
About 40 minutes by public transport from downtown, you'll find Montmorency Falls, a veritable natural paradise! In winter, this impressive waterfall freezes over, making it a sight to behold! If you'd like to see the waterfall from the comfort of your own home, a cable-car ride is the perfect option. For the more athletically inclined, there are several trails accessible on foot or on snowshoes.
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6: QUEBEC CITY
Start your day by discovering the Ice Hotel, open from January 1 to March 17, 2025, an extraordinary experience that will transport you to an ephemeral frozen kingdom. Organized departure from downtown.

Enjoy a drink in the Ice Bar, where beverages are served in ice glasses. Let yourself be transported on a magical adventure in the heart of winter. But be sure to bundle up, as temperatures can be chilly even for the most courageous.
Return to Quebec City, afternoon free for personal discovery. Classified as a "world heritage jewel" by UNESCO, Quebec City is the only fortified city in North America.
