Thailand’s new premium train offers a remarkable rail journey across the country. Temples, elephants, mountains… and impeccable service throughout.
Day 1 (Saturday) – Arrival in Bangkok
Arrival in Bangkok and transfer from the airport to the hotel.
In the evening, welcome dinner and information briefing at the hotel.

Day 2 (Sunday) – Bangkok – Ayutthaya
Transfer from the hotel to Hua Lamphong railway station and boarding the Blue Jasmine train.
The station itself is a historic landmark, blending Western neo-Renaissance architecture with traditional Thai design.
Welcome cocktail on board.
After a 1.5-hour journey, arrival in Ayutthaya for lunch at a traditional restaurant by a lotus pond.
Visit of Ayutthaya’s oldest temples and ruins aboard the famous Frog Tuk Tuk.
The Blue Jasmine then continues for a two-hour journey to Uthai Thani.
Check-in at the Uthai Heritage Hotel, a former private school with colonial-style architecture. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 (Monday) – Uthai Thani – Overnight on board
At sunrise, take part in a monk alms-giving ceremony and explore a local market. Back at the hotel, attend the daily flag-raising ceremony during breakfast.
Visit Uthai Thani’s temples, including the Crystal Temple and the Golden Temple, renowned for their mirrors and gilded decorations.
Lunch cruise on the Sakae Krang River.
Return to the station and board the train.
Sunset aperitif, dinner on board and overnight on the train.

Day 4 (Tuesday) – Chiang Mai
Wake up in the heart of Chiang Mai’s mountains. En route, the train passes through Khun Tan station, the highest railway station in Thailand, and its elegant red tunnel, a key railway landmark in northern Thailand.
Arrival in Chiang Mai, early check-in at the hotel and free morning.
In the afternoon, discover Chiang Mai’s historic temples and the refined Thai-Lanna architecture that reflects the cultural identity of northern Thailand.
Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 5 (Wednesday) – Chiang Mai
Full day of excursions around Chiang Mai, including a visit to an ethical elephant sanctuary where the animals are protected and cared for, followed by lunch on site.
Continue to a secluded mountain refuge for a breathtaking sunset overlooking the horizon.
Enjoy a classical music concert in harmony with the surrounding natural landscape.
End the evening with a refined dinner at a charming farm-to-table restaurant celebrating local flavours.
Day 6 (Thursday) – Chiang Mai – Sukhothai
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the station and boarding the Blue Jasmine.
Scenic rail journey through mountainous landscapes toward Sukhothai. During the 4.5-hour ride, the train crosses picturesque bridges and runs alongside dramatic cliffs, while a light lunch is served on board.
Arrival in Sukhothai and visit of an ancient temple.
In the evening, enjoy an outdoor barbecue dinner accompanied by a traditional performance.

Day 7 (Friday) – Sukhothai – Overnight on board
Visit the Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (by bicycle or shuttle, at your choice).
After a Thai-inspired lunch, discover local craftsmanship.
Visit a pottery workshop, the textile museum and a gold jewellery workshop.
At the end of the day, return to the station to re-board the train.
The Blue Jasmine welcomes you for another memorable evening, featuring a gourmet dinner after sunset.

Day 8 (Saturday) – Return to Bangkok
Arrival at Hua Lamphong railway station.
Transfer to the hotel.
For the final highlight of your journey, enjoy a panoramic cruise on the Chao Phraya River, passing ancient temples and historic districts of Bangkok.
Your destination is an exceptional riverside venue, known for its elegant blend of traditional Thai architecture and contemporary luxury design.

Payment conditions
- A 30% deposit is required at the time of confirmation.
- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the arrival date.
- Optional comprehensive travel insurance must be taken out within 24 hours of confirmation.
Cancellation conditions
- Up to 190 days before departure: no cancellation fee
- From 189 to 130 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee
- From 129 to 100 days before departure: 80% cancellation fee
- Less than 100 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee
- All cancellations must be notified in writing.
The Blue Jasmine Train
The Blue Jasmine is an intimate charter train made up of 10 carriages, designed to accommodate a maximum of 37 passengers. Originally, the Blue Jasmine was a prestigious sleeper train operated in Japan in the 1960s, known at the time as one of the “Blue Trains.” Acquired and fully refurbished by the Thai company DTH Travel, the Blue Jasmine now operates exclusively in Thailand. Its inaugural journey took place in November 2025.
In addition to its sleeping cars, the train features one bar car and two dining cars, where refined cuisine is served throughout the journey.
The train offers three compartment categories: Classic, Premium, and Premium Suite. All compartments are air-conditioned.
