DAY 1: LONDON
Flight or train to London available upon request.
(By train: Paris > London = 2h20; Lyon > London = 5h)
Arrive independently in London and check in at your conveniently located hotel.
Meet your French-speaking guide for an unforgettable half-day tour of London. Begin in the West End, a district rich in history and architecture. As you wander through Covent Garden, once a bustling flower and vegetable market, you’ll discover a lively area filled with street performers, elegant arcades, artisan shops, and the colorful, bohemian charm of Neal’s Yard.
Approaching the River Thames, the iconic silhouettes of Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster come into view. Your guide will explain how this UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the British Parliament, has witnessed many pivotal moments in the nation’s history.
Continue with a private guided tour of Westminster Abbey, a magnificent Gothic masterpiece and UNESCO site where countless royals and historic figures are laid to rest.
The remainder of the day is free for you to explore London at your own pace.
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2: GASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCE ABOARD THE BRITISH PULLMAN
(Bath or Oxford)
In the morning, enjoy a private transfer to Victoria Station.
Board the ultra-chic British Pullman, sister train to the Orient Express, for an unforgettable gourmet adventure.
The lovingly restored Art Deco carriages provide the perfect setting for a refined culinary experience. From start to finish, impeccable service and attention to detail make this a true feast for the senses.
You’ll be greeted with a glass of champagne, followed by an exquisite multi-course meal paired with carefully selected wines. As you dine, take in the gently rolling English countryside through the train’s wide picture windows — a magical journey that blends fine dining with the timeless romance of rail travel.
Depending on the date, your destination may vary (please inquire):
- Bath, a historic city to explore at your own pace. Stroll through its welcoming streets, boutiques, cafés, and bars. Nestled among green hills, Bath’s elegant Georgian terraces, built from honey-colored stone, have earned it UNESCO World Heritage status.
- Oxford, where stunning architecture and fascinating museums meet lush parks and riverside walks. Home to the world-famous university, Oxford’s colleges have shaped brilliant minds such as Oscar Wilde, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Stephen Hawking. Upon arrival, your guide will greet you at Oxford Parkway Station and accompany you by private coach to the city center. Take part in an optional walking tour or explore independently — from historic streets and museums to the tranquil Oxford Botanic Garden or a punting excursion on the River Cherwell.
Back on board, sink into your plush seat and enjoy another glass of champagne, followed by a fabulous gourmet dinner paired with fine wine selected by the sommelier. A coffee service concludes the evening before your return to London Victoria Station.
Private transfer back to your hotel.
Overnight at the hotel. (B, L, D)

The British Pullman, an iconic luxury train, perfectly embodies the elegance and timeless charm of classic British rail travel. Operated by Belmond, this historic train belongs to the same prestigious family as the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, which runs between Paris and Venice.
Its beautifully restored vintage carriages date back to the 1920s and 1930s. Each has its own fascinating story — having carried celebrities, royalty, and even played a part in major historical events. Step aboard Audrey, Vera, Minerva, and other distinguished carriages to discover their unique character and style.
Inside, the British Pullman is a masterpiece of Art Deco design: intricate marquetry, polished wood panels, sumptuous armchairs, and delicate glass lamps create a warm, refined atmosphere. Every detail contributes to the train’s signature sense of glamour and sophistication.
The British Pullman offers day excursions and short journeys through the English countryside, visiting destinations such as Bath and Oxford, as well as themed trips like mystery dinners and special events.
