DAY 1: SEVILLE - XERES (Al Andalus train)
Flight or train to Seville on request.
Individual arrival in Seville (Spain).
Guests are welcomed at the Hotel Alfonso XIII at 10am. Departure for a tour of the capital of Andalusia. Seville's rich history has left it with an impressive architectural heritage: its Gothic Cathedral of Our Lady of the Siege houses the tomb of Christopher Columbus. It is famous for its Giralda bell tower, an ancient Hispano-Moorish minaret. Together with the Alcázar Palace and the Archives of the Indies, it forms a splendid architectural complex listed by UNESCO.
After lunch, continue to the impressive Plaza de España.
A welcome drink accompanies your boarding of the luxury Al Andalus Spanish train. You settle into your "room on wheels", where your luggage is already waiting for you.
Your train journey through Southern Spain begins. Direction: Jerez (Xérès).

DAY 2: XERES - CADIX (Al Andalus train, Gran Turismo coach)
After the buffet breakfast served on board your Gran Turismo coach, you will set off for the Andalusian city of Cadiz. Cadiz is Europe's most westerly city, built on a rock linked to the mainland by a narrow road. It is famous for its beaches and rich historical heritage. After visiting the city, you will have free time to take full advantage of its many viewpoints before lunch.
Return to Jerez. Free time for personal discovery.
You return to your luxury Andalusia train, with dinner served on board.

DAY 3: XERES - RONDA (Al Andalus luxury train)
After breakfast on board the train, you will visit one of the most important producers of Xerès, the famous white wine fortified with brandy. Your visit to Jerez, a typical Andalusian city, continues with a horse show at the Royal Equestrian School. You then set off to discover the region and the town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, situated on the estuary of the River Guadalquivir and opposite the Doñana Natural Park, the largest ecological reserve in Europe. Sanlúcar was a port of call for many of the Spanish conquistadors.
You will then return to your luxury Spanish train, which will take you through the magnificent landscapes of the Serranía mountain range to the impressive town of Ronda. Dinner in a local restaurant.

DAY 4: RONDA - CORDOBA (Al Andalus train)
After breakfast, guided tour of Ronda, which dates back to Roman times and is known as the birthplace of bullfighting. Discover its impressive New Bridge and its 18th-century bullring.
Free time. After lunch, your luxury Spanish train heads for Cordoba, where you will dine before spending the night on board.

DAY 5: CORDOBA - GRENADA (Al Andalus luxury train)
You visit beautiful Cordoba, the historic centre of the Caliphate in medieval times. Cordoba is the city with the most UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In fact, its historic centre, its mosque-cathedral famous for its two-coloured arches, the Medina-Azahara and the Cordoba Patios Festival have all been listed. It is also the birthplace of Seneca, Averroes and Maimonides, three major philosophers of Roman, Islamic and Jewish civilisation.
Lunch on board the train while your train takes you to Linares-Baeza station, where a Gran Turismo coach awaits you for an excursion through olive groves to the towns of Úbeda and Baeza, both declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO for their exceptional heritage.
In the early afternoon, "Al Andalus" sets off again, heading for Granada, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada.

DAY 6: GRENADA (Al Andalus train)
This day you will set off to discover this magnificent city and its two UNESCO-listed sites: the Alhambra and the Generalife gardens. This palatial complex, which dominates the city of Granada, is the most majestic example of medieval Islamic architecture.
After lunch, you will have free time to explore the city on your own.
Your day ends with dinner in a local restaurant.

DAY 7: GRENADA (Al Andalus train)
After breakfast on board, you leave your luxury Andalusia train.
Free time and lunch.
Your journey will end at around 16:00.

THE ANDALUSIA LUXURY TRAIN - DESCRIPTION
Of all the luxury trains in the world, Al Andalus is one of the Discovery Train team's favourites. It is a train that remains affordable, while the services on board are absolutely top-of-the-range.
The train is made up of seven renovated carriages, five of which were built in France in 1929. They were once used by the British royal family when they travelled from Calais to the Côte d'Azur. The original Belle Époque décor has been preserved and enhanced with contemporary technical modifications.
During the day, the rooms are transformed into a comfortable private travel lounge for contemplating the scenery, reading or relaxing.

CONDITIONS OF SALE AND CANCELLATION
- If you cancel more than 30 days before departure, cancellation charges will be 30% of the total cost of the trip.
- Cancellation between 30 and 15 days: 30
- Cancellation between 14 and 5 days: 60%.
- Cancellation between 4 and 1 day: 90%.
- Cancellation less than 24 hours or no-show on the day of departure: 100%.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Itineraries may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond the Organiser's control or due to various problems that may arise during abnormal operation in the management of the capacity of the network on which the Tourist Trains run. In these cases, the Organiser will adopt the appropriate solutions for the continuation of the organised journey, at no extra cost to the customer, and will communicate these to the customer. If the customer continues the journey with the solutions provided by the Organiser, he will be considered to have tacitly accepted the said proposals.
The Organiser makes no commitment as to the punctuality of its trains, since its aim is not simply to transport passengers, but to provide leisure, pleasure and compliance with an established tourist and service programme.
